There is no recycling program offered for vape or cannabis disposable pens, refilled cartridges or E-cigarettes in Ontario or anywhere in Canada. Due to the lack of NO recycling options people wind up hoarding or have boxes of used vape and cannabis pens, refilled cartridges, batteries and E-cigarettes in their home or even worse, they end up tossing their empty pens, cartridges and batteries in the trash.

The scale of waste generated by disposable vaporizers will become immense as the industry grows much like the Keurig K Cup waste issue. We’ve seen this problem before – from microbeads to plastic water bottles to styrofoam cups – and we know better. We won’t let the notion of “convenience” be a marketing scapegoat for billion dollar corporations to trash the planet and get away with it.
